Catalina is a highly integrated software based solution ("protocol stack") that allows OEM's to rapidly add UMA functionality to GSM handset, Internet Appliances and Endpoints. Catalina provides both control and data plane functionality. Catalina can be integrated into existing products (e.g. Handsets, Terminal Adaptors, Gateways, Enterprise servers) or be the starting point for a new generation of "cellular" products for home or enterprise. Catalina runs on a variety of processors and Operating Systems.
